Sharks of Monmouth County NJ Lecture

  • Bayshore Waterfront Park 719 Old Port Monmouth Road Port Monmouth, NJ, 07758 United States (map)

The Jersey Shore is home to many different species of sharks: great whites, bulls, blues and threshers to name just a few. It’s also home to the infamous shark attacks of 1916, the first known shark attacks on swimmers in U.S. history, which inspired the book and movie “Jaws”. This talk will get into the history and ecology of sharks as well as why they are important to protect. Not to be missed by any shark enthusiast!
