The Hook Book: A Guide to Common Marine Organisms of Sandy Hook, is a book that was printed long ago by the New Jersey Marine Sciences Consortium located at Fort Hancock, Sandy Hook National Recreation Area, New Jersey. This is the second printing of the book published in 1987. Both the first and second printings of the book are largely out of print. We provide the information below to help educate people about the biodiversity of Sandy Hook Bay, NJ, since there is currently a lack of public information easily available for the general public.
